Dwell Magazine
or awhile now we've been subscribed to "Dwell" magazine. We like it because it carries the most recent ideas and creations out of, in particular, California. It was Dwell magazine that led us to investigate 'prefab' homes.
Prefabricated homes are not what they used to be! Not only can they be 'green', they can be, as with most green product, expensive. Most often included in the expense however is elegance, design ingenuity, functional design, renewable resources, architectural interest, and a fore-shortened construction effort.
Empyrean homes and Michelle Kaufmann Designs are just two of the prefab home companies introduced to us by Dwell magazine.Each of these organizations have very interesting designs.
